Date Night!!

This last Saturday night we went with the Olsen's to Hagerman for a jet ski ride. It was nice to get a babysitter, and have a nice night with some friends.

Nathan is behind the camera, we didn't want to chance it getting wet!!

California Trip

We decided to go to CA for a little trip, and had so much fun.

The first day we went to the beach in San Diego. Jake was not entirely sure about all the big waves, but we had fun playing around.

The next day we went to Sea World. Jake really loved seeing all the animals, Shamu was our favorite.

We went swimming in the hotels. Jake was a little nervous about the water at first, but ended up lovin it!!

The whole reason we ended up going to CA was to pick up my dad's new boat. So after we got the boat we decided to go to Lake Tahoe and try her out, when we got there there were like a million people there, and the water was so choppy from the wind. We were not exactly thrilled to be putting the boat on the water, and decided not to when they told us it would be 20$ to put your boat on the water, 20$ to get your boat out, and 30$ for the boat inspection. (That's California for ya) So we found a nice little cove where the water was nice and waded. We also met up with Nathan's brother and his fiance Sarah, who were there on vacation as well.

After we left Tahoe, we decided to just drive home and go water skiing the next day at the Snake River. On our way home we found this awesome little lake. The water was like 75 degrees, and like glass. I didn't get many pictures, because my camera was full, but that was one of the highlights of the trip!

Jake is trying to stand now I got this picture of him standing! He is getting so big.

It was kind of weird being in the San Diego area for my family, because my younger brother Miles is serving a mission there. We were not able to see him, but we miss him tons!!
Love ya Mi

The 4th

The fourth of July is such a fun holiday, BBQs & fireworks!! Not so much for us, instead it is three days from H-E double toothpicks. The 2nd through the 4th we are selling fireworks!! I drove a truck around town for three ten hour days, while Nate runs everywhere packing extremely heavy boxes from booth to booth. No it really is not that bad, but it would be fun to someday have a normal 4th where we all sit around at a BBQ lighting fireworks. Jake did pretty good in the truck, but not always a happy camper. The CSI fireworks were ok this year, and Jake really did not know what to think. He was a little nervous but I am sure he will become a little pyro soon. Hope you all had a GREAT 4th of July!!
